Welcome to the AAA-NORCAP website
Established in 1982 NORCAP was formed to help adults affected by adoption and to reduce distress and anxiety.
We do this by:
- Giving information, support and advice to members about adoption, its impact, and search and reunion.
- Operating a register which may link people separated by adoption who want to be put in touch with each other.
- Offering a skilled intermediary service to facilitate reunions and provide ongoing support.
- Running a network of trained volunteers who provide local support to members.
- Providing a telephone helpline each weekday.
- Giving expert advice and information on searching for relatives separated by adoption.
- Providing local support groups for members.
- Giving specialist advice and support to adults abandoned as babies.
